The name says it all really – a Smartphone is well, smart. Unlike ordinary mobile phones, Smartphones can be likened to a miniature PC that can do a multitude of things that the average mobile phone can’t.

There is no exact definition of what makes and models are classed as Smartphones. Essentially, any phone that exceeds the norm, for example having a built-in E-book reader, could be recognised as a Smartphone.

One thing that keeps the phone in line with ordinary mobiles is the Smartphone Apps . These apps are so good because many of them are programmable and you can also add or delete them as you so desire. (more...)
