What does it cost to accept credit card payments online?

Not as much as you think! - We selected Protx® as a payment processing partner for our online clients as their credit card processing products are professional with a very competitive pricing model.

Protx® offer customers three products:-

1. Small Business Service (< 1,000 Transactions per Quarter)

You can process up to 1,000 transactions per quarter and the fee is a flat rate of £20.00 per month. There is no setup fee, annual fee and no transaction charges. For more information, visit the Protx® website.

2. Corporate Payment Service (> 1,000 Transactions per Quarter)

The Protx® Corporate Service is ideal if you wish to process more than 1,000 transactions per quarter. You will be charged 10p per transaction but you must maintain at least 200 transactions per month otherwise your account will be automatically downgraded to the Small Business Service the following quarter. 3. VSP Terminal Only (< 300 Transactions per Quarter)

Ideal for businesses that sell less than 300 products per quarter via mail order or by telephone, with a VSP Terminal Only account you are charged a flat rate of £10 per month with no additional charges. If you do process more than 300 transactions per quarter you will automatically be moved to the Small Business or Corporate Payment Service in the following quarter.
